Blueberry Probiotic Smoothie #smoothiesunday
Mother's day has took a whole other meaning to me once I became one. It's not about the presents or thankful cards (which are a bonus). For me Its a day where I look at my kids and feel absolute gratitude, pride and super hero powers. They are happy, strong, fed, clean, smart and funny and I had a VERY big part in it. Isn't it amazing? :)
May our kids remind us everyday how strong and limitless we are! Happy mother's day to all the beautiful mommies out there. You are doing an amazing job!
And on that note here's my Sunday smoothie, filled with probiotic to strengthen our immune system and gut function to make sure we stay strong and healthy as well as a good protein serving to make it a great breakfast smoothie. Blueberries are added to make sure those antioxidants keep us beautiful, and hemp seeds give us a great source of fibre!
4 TBS greek yogurt
1/2 cup kefir (can be substituted for non dairy milk)
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 tbs hemp seeds
Add all ingredients to blender and blend till smooth.
