Healthy Dessert :Valentine's Day Edition
Every Valentine's Day its the strawberries and chocolate staple. Its delicious, I get it. But you know whats even better. raspberries. I LOVE raspberries. And because its a day when we celebrate love I thought its only fair to celebrate with these chocolate dipped raspberries. My valentine's day just got better!
Nutrition Tip: Make sure to use the dark chocolate chips (60%-70%) to rip the full benefits such as high fibre, high vitamin content and an amazing source of antioxidants!
Try to use organic berries when possible. Berries are usually at the top of the most contaminated with pesticides and other chemicals.
What you will need:
1/2 TBS Coconut Oil
- Wash raspberries and pat dry thoroughly with paper towels.
- In a small pot, heat coconut oil and add the chocolate bits. Stir. Repeat at 30 seconds intervals until chocolate is completely melted.
- Carefully dip the bottom 2/3 of each raspberry into the chocolate, leaving the top of the raspberry exposed.
- Set dipped raspberries on a wax paper lined baking sheet. Refrigerate until serving.
