Crown Braid Made Easy!

I have ZERO skill when it comes to style my hair or DIY my clothes or whatever it is that takes a bit of coordination and patience. This crown braid been on my mind for a while now, i love the look and i kept going to the hair salon to get it done.  5 min and $70 later i decided enough is enough! and here it is..my 7 min $0 crown braid!

You will need two elastics (I only had the white ones but there are brown ones available for darker hair) and a handful of bobby pins for this DIY Crown Braid tutorial.

Step 1) Part your hair down the middle and separate the two sides.

Step 2) Braid each  half of your hair loosely into pigtails.. Do not braid too tightly, they should not be perfect.. I recommend clear elastics to secure the end of your braids so that they are more easily concealed within your hair

Step 3) Grab the bottom of your first braid and wrap it around the top of your head, resembling a crown. Using a bobby pin, secure it to the top of your head. (Where to pin each pigtail depends on the length of your hair but it should be able to reach past your middle part or the desired effect will not be achieved). Repeat this step for the second braid.

Step 4) Using your bobby pins, secure any fly aways or pieces that stick out. Make sure the braids are well pinned and they will stay in all day!

Ta dah! A hairstyle fit for a princess
